Alister performed the role of Transactions Manager and Commercial Advisor for this key social housing pilot project. The project involved taking 6 sites to market across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. Alister developed and implemented a divestment and development strategy which involved seeking development partners and social housing providers to deliver social housing outcomes and an appropriate financial return for government. The strategy was successfully implemented and executed. Alister led a large team that recently concluded with the exchange and settlement of 6 contracts across all sites. Government’s social and financial objectives were realised.
